Today was Easter. It was a nice day to be with family, and celebrate what the holiday is really about. It was fun trying to get a family portrait. Normally, I don't enjoy this nearly as much as today. We were using a self timer on the camera. It was made even more complicated with trying to have our pets in the picture.
I also learned a good lesson today, a rather painful one. I was trying to kick a soccer ball as hard as I could. The field I was on was soaking wet, so my feet slipped out when I kicked the ball. I landed hard in soggy grass, and got soaked. Even that couldn't put a damper on a glorious day.
