I think any drastic change in life can make us feel homesick ("home" being places, things and people we're comfortable and familier with). I find it useful to settle into a routine as quickly as possible, and build into that routine opportunities to meet new friends (this has been a challenge for me this new school year). Don't forget to look for a good church/fellowship. Part of my routine every morning as I get to work is to visit your blog. Keep it up. I sure enjoy it.

Thanks for the advice. Hopefully, when things get a bit more "normal" I can settle in to more of a routine.
