Iceland?

Today I turned in my essay about the book on finding happiness. I reached the conclusion that happiness is not really based on geography but more on personal enlightenment. However, when my teacher asked people where the happiest place on earth was, almost everyone answered Iceland. I was shocked and really worried my entire analysis of the book was wrong. I'm still not sure if my teacher is going to agree with my analysis, but she said the 'correct' answer is up for individual interpretation. I hope she doesn't grade my interpretation on finding happiness too harshly, that would make me the opposite of happy.
