Busy Day

Today has been a busy day. I have a midterm on Monday that I feel like will be really difficult. I've been trying to study for it, but I've also had other things I needed to do and other things I wanted to do. I'm worried tomorrow I will be in a panic and not be able to watch the Super Bowl. I have 90 places on the world map I need to memorize for the midterm and pages of notes and books to go through. I'm running out of time and starting to get worried.

Family Friday

Today my family was in town. It was fun to get to see them. I wish they could have been in town longer, but just having them here at all was special. It was the first time our whole family had been together in a month. As they know, they can visit whenever they want.

Mapping it Out

Today was a fairly productive day. I woke up earlier than planned and was able to get some studying done before my classes. I had a calculus quiz, and I feel like I did well on it. This afternoon I worked on a mapping project and finished my calculus homework and still found time to make it to the rec center. My map still has a ways to go before it is anywhere near completion, but it was good to at least start on it.

Unweak Week

Today is Wednesday. In the next week, I have a calculus quiz to take, map to create, world map to memorize, political geography midterm to study for and take and the writing portion of my monsters class to study and take a midterm about. It is quite a bit of stuff to accomplish and not a lot of time to accomplish it in.

Monster Midterm

Today I had a midterm for the geology portion of my monsters class. I wasn't really sure what to expect. I didn't expect my teacher to bring his dog to class. That was interesting. The test itself wasn't too hard and I feel like I probably did pretty well on it. I'm mainly just glad to have it out of the way and now need to start getting ready for my next midterms.

Math Monday

Today was a long Monday. I've got a midterm tomorrow that I need to study for. For the first time in my life, I am struggling with math. It is a new experience for me, and rather frustrating. I'm also at the point in my academic career where I am questioning whether struggling through this class is really worth it. I've just been out of math too long and my math skills are too rusty for this class. The deadline for dropping a class is I believe tomorrow if it hasn't already passed. I really would hate for it to come to that, maybe I'll just try even if I don't know the probability of success.

Game Plan

Today I played in my first basketball game. It was supposed to be in a "non-competitive" league, but the other team was basically an all-star team. I actually made a basket but mainly spent most of the time I was in the game running up and down the court. It was fun, but I am a bit sore. I also bid on some shoes on eBay that I have been following for a week. I was the high bidder until there was 7 seconds left and then I lost.
