Ungolfed

Today my father and I were going to go golfing. We got all ready and drove to the golf course. Nobody was there, and for a good reason. There was still snow on the ground at the golf course. It would be hard trying to find, or hit for that matter, a golf ball in the snow. Places around the golf course didn't have snow, but the golf course has more shade with trees lining the fairways. I still had a fun day, and hopefully we can make it to the driving range before I head back to college.

Home at Last

I am home for the weekend. It is good to be home, and with my family. I wish I could stay home longer, but I will enjoy what time I do have.

Homeward Bound

Today I had quite a bit to do before I head home for the three day weekend. All week, I have been looking forward to going home. But it has been overwhelming thinking about all I have to do before I leave and when I get back. It will be nice to be home, and hard to come back to college.

Early Late Start

Today I didn't have class until 1:00pm, and it was the only class I had for the day. I was a bit tempted to sleep in, and not even set my alarm clock. Instead, I got up earlier than normal and went running for 10 miles.

Unsticking Snow

Today it snowed. Unlike back home, it didn't accumulate. It was fun to go for a walk around campus with the snow falling. I am thankful it snowed after I went trail running, or the trail would have been even more muddy. I wonder what tomorrow will hold.

Beautiful Bay

Today I went running down to the bay. The sun was setting and it looked beautiful. I wish I had a camera, but I didn't. Although, I'm not sure I would want to carry a camera with me while I am running. Maybe I will have to walk down to the bay and take a picture sometime. It won't be anytime soon though, it is supposed to snow tomorrow.

Dog Gone By

Today I went jogging. Every time I pass a dog, I still get a bit nervous. Nearing the end of my jog, I saw a dog in the distance. This dog was not on a leash and was sprinting right towards me. It didn't look like the nicest dog, and it was quickly approaching.

It kept getting closer and closer. I thought about turning and running away from it, but I knew it would catch me if that was its goal. I would only delay the inevitable. As I braced for impact, the dog sprinted past me literally within a foot. I am not sure why it ran right at me, but glad it decided to keep running past and not attack. It does need to learn to share the road though.
