Rude Awakening

Today I woke up way earlier than planned to the sound of a fire alarm. When I opened my door, I found our living room to be filled with smoke. Turns out, my suite mate caused the alarm by burning some noodles on the stove. However, after the rude awakening and after a few more hours of sleep, today turned out to be a good day.
